We booked one night here as we had booked a tour of the Woodchester Valley wine vineyards (only 2.5 miles away). We stayed in Elderflower room on the first floor which overlooked the Brittania Pub. The room, en-suite shower and breakfast hamper were all delightful. Booking, checking in, checking out was simple. Matthew kept us informed and sent a useful list of taxis to go to the vineyard. Although there was adequate parking next to the Garlic rooms we left our car at the vineyard and used a taxi service after the wine tasting and back the next morning to pick the car up. All very easy using Feebs Taxis of Nailsworth. There is a delightful sandwich shop opposite for a morning bacon butty. (its called Nice Baps) All in all a very clean, nice place to stay, great shower, tea, coffee, milk, orange, fruit and comfortable bed.

Unfortunately the bed/mattress was old and sagging and even creaked when you sat on it. It doesn't matter how nice the room looks or how good the quality of the towels (they were good quality as was the bedding) the whole point of a hotel, B&B, Airbnb etc is to get a good nights sleep away from home. We travel a lot and this was the worst night's sleep that I've had in many years.

Absolutely gorgeous accomodation. Everything perfect. We loved staying there. Hard to leave. Beautifully decorated and well equipped
