TEWKESBURY PARK hotel golf and country club

"Yes, but....” is what many may often say about an hotel. Often there’s something that can spoil a stay. Noise, mundane food, expensive drinks, poor value, surly staff. We’ve all encountered those things. But not here. Our second stay in the last few years, and really, you cannot fault this hotel in any way at all, from the moment you approach it through the parkland in which it sits. A very warm welcome at reception, superb room, wonderful views, very reasonable bar prices and absolutely marvellous choices of high quality foods at breakfast. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and maintained with the utmost attention to detail. Lovely people working there too.

Six of us came here for our yearly golf trip and we were not disappointed. The course is suitable for all levels of play and is near immaculately maintained. Considering the drought this summer, the greens are excellent. The hotel itself is superb. Very tasteful decor throughout the property, abundant and classy seating and relaxing areas and the facilities are excellent. The room was modern, large and spotless. The food was fantastic. The menu was elegant, perfectly executed and prices very reasonable. The staff were very pleasant, without being overbearing. All in all, near perfection (some extremely minor gripes which aren’t worth commenting on) and I would love to come back one day.

So we had Afternoon tea, for my 60s. Tea was lovely. Can't fault it.. But i used my walker, first off no disabled parking, if there are any there's no signs to say this way. no ramps, to reception no ramps, the man behind the counter said we have ramps but it will take 5 mins to set up..no flat floors, between door ways. The list is endless..but like I said tea was lovely..
