The Beckford Inn

We found this country pub quite by accident when our hotel restaurant let us down. A friendly welcome, excellent food and very pleasant surrounding, we liked it so much we came back the next three nights as well and every time the food, service and environment was excellent. I only wish we had booked our rooms here as well.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat and we weren't disappointed, I take my hat off to the chef , Emma and Catherine couldn't have done more for us we felt really taken care of. The main restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere, id definitely come back again soon

Friendly service, nice beer and well cooked food. The pudding, a Basque cheesecake, was excellent and nice to have some more unusual choices on the menu. However, the main course - sea bass - was disappointing. It was a very small portion of fish with two small pieces of potato (OK for a starter, but not a main). This was poor value for money and I was still hungry.
