Y Castell Hotel

If you are a party animal, this is a truly excellent place to stay. Great location, good selection of beer, very loud dance music and plenty of socialising and large numbers of people really enjoying themselves. Its a bumpy, jumpy kind of place where the revelry goes on until 2 am, both inside and out in the Market Square. . It's great to see lots of people really enjoying themselves. The rooms are average, but more than made up for by the staff and great party atmosphere. After 2am it goes really quiet.

We stopped for a meal and a quiet Monday night. The food was all home-made good size portions and very tasty would definitely recommend. We decided to visit the restaurant after a friend had suggested we try it I had the linguine in a creamy sauce with chicken and chorizo. My wife had the lasagna which was huge. I ended up finishing it. There was a slight wait for the food, but that is to be expected when it is all cooked to order no Popty ping (microwave)as they say in Welsh

Absolute dump no chance of sleep music still blasting out at 2.26 am .mouldy shower . And its sunday night into monday morning and i have a 4 hour drive home in the morning so i will be up at 7 am. This is the worst place i have ever stayed it is not in my opinion a hotel it is a very rough pub with rooms and owners who do not care about people staying there unless you want all night drinking and deafening music avoid this dump
