What a wonderful gem of a hotel, quiet and peaceful. Warm and comfortable with an excellent choice for breakfast, continental, cereals and a full English. Made to feel extremely welcome. Modern rooms and a comfortable bed.

Spotlessly clean, breakfasts cooked to order, a welcoming host - what more could you ask for? This hotel is in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town centre; shopping, restaurants and public transport links. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with none of the flat pack type furniture you get in some chain hotels. Definitely a place I would go back to whenever I'm in the Basingstoke area.

I stayed here for 2 nights for work purposes. I was on a course in the local area. The hotel is set in a great location close to the town centre. It is a small hotel with a modern approach. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfy which is key. The breakfast was to a good standard and set me up well for the day. I had a request for a sheet rather then a duvet because of the weather and this was swiftly carried out. With the hotel being small the hosts made a personal approach and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. The car park is a good size, the reception isn’t 24:7 because of the size and the hotels run by Ian And his wife. But as long as you tell them before 10pm or at breakfast then they will do anything they can to help.
