We only stayed one night, but it was a good experience. We had room 2, which I see had a previous bad review. We found the room adequate. It was clean, with clean linen and plenty of towels. Yes it does need redecorating and definitely new curtains. They were very holey on the centre edge, a small change but it would lift the room. Agree it was a shame the lights above the bed don't work and the chair is dirty and needs re upholstering. Also very annoying it didn't tuck in under the dressing table. I hope the room is one of the ones waiting to be refurbished. The bathroom was fine, clean and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable enough and the room was quiet. Be aware that parking on site is £10 per day, but free just across on the main road. Breakfast was good. Pleasant staff, obviously family run. Great views of the small jets landing.

sad to say that although the man on reception upon arrival was pleasant the experience was shocking. The room number 2 was in a neglected state. To begin with stains on floors, dusty smell, curtains ripped, strange markings on the wall and some looked like damp coming through. Not to mention a few dead bugs on the floor. The paperwork upon arrival to the room states that rooms are cleaned however clearly not. Dust in and on top of lampshades, on and behind tv. Now we move on to the lighting... several bulbs were out and not replaced because clearly the lighting above the bed didnt work, lights in bathroom mirror had 3 out. Two main lights were meant to be working yet only one was. The lampshade was a feeding ground for dust and the window lock was barly hanging on to the window. I have photos and video evidence of the condition of this room sadly. I realised all of this after the first initial shock in that the milk for the tea and coffee went out of date in March and beginning of June! Good job I looked because off milk can give you real bad stomach upset and make you ill. I did find the coffee and tea in the end which was put away in the wardrobe... very strange. And when I went to use the cup and saucer after a long day and a 3 hour drive to Farnborough you'd atleast expect a clean cup and saucer. But no sadly this was dirty and and marks in it too. Finally we move onto the bath tub. A few pieces of hair still in the tub when I arrived. Clearly not been cleaned. I believe the only things that were fresh in the bedroom were the towels and the bedding yet the bedding still had marks on it. And the mattress dips in the middle. I did not have the best night sleep at all. Upon checking out I spoke to a member of the team who appeared when you ding the bell to check out if no one is at reception which they weren't. I explained about the room and the state it was in but she looked at me with a blank expression and vague. I had to prompt her with what happens next. I listed off some options. She didn't want to get a manager to take this matter further there had referred me to an email approach to get a resolution. I feel a refund is expected due to the quality of this room which I will most likely have to fight to get. However under Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill I feel Falcon hotel Farnborough have not lived up to this and sadly has a bad review. I do hope this is taken seriously for the welfare of future guests if they decide to stay. And an outcome of a refund for myself is actioned. Overall a dirty place to stay.
