Best Western Crown

Nice little hotel. Rooms above a pub but no problems with pub noise in room 9. Room for 1 person is small but everything one needs is there. Some things are a bit old, but shower worked very well and the toilet paper showed and felt that one cares about the guests. May I remind everyone that after Covid, the small hotels in England must now slowly but surely get their act together. Long vacancy in England. I slept well and enjoyed myself. Parking is free, but limited spaces.

Very clean good value for money Hotel situated in the centre of Town. Yes it could all do with a few quid spent on the decor , But you get what you pay for and to be honest this is very good value for money and was very clean with great staff, the breakfast was great as well. If you cannot park in Hotel car park, large car park behind pub 3 min walk, 8 min walk to Train , we did the real ale train RAT and we find this location was great.

Clean room although a little dated but considering the building is centuries old it was understandable but the owners have only been there for 6 months and refurbishment is happening where needed soon. Check in was quick and the staff member was friendly, polite and helpful.
