Bear Hotel

Dated and tired, in need of a much needed refresh. Wall paper peeling. Bathroom is grubby and poorly maintained.

Booked into the hotel with partner room was well stocked and neatly presented bumped into a housekeeper dawn and she was lovely and couldn't do more for us.

Went for an evening meal and was very happy with staff and food. Staff very friendly and attentive and the food was lovely. Had mushroom and ale pie with mash potato and fresh veg, followed by a lovely cheesecake. Will definitely be visiting again.
