The hotel itself has a good location Rooms could do with a deep clean Staff - think they need some training as they were very slow. Check in was quick once staff acknowledged us. The main issue was breakfast the next day, I appreciate that it gets busy in waves but you would think that staff are aware of these periods. At one stage no cutlery, plates, bread or other items. The staff were just overwhelmed with the amount of people arriving. Also paying for parking even with a discount code is expensive. Don’t think I would return anything soon.

It’s a Holiday Inn Express so my expectations were low, but seriously, how difficult is it to cook a sausage on more than one side? Some of the bacon was also uncooked. If you are providing breakfast, there are some pretty basic fundamentals that you need to get right, like cooking the food.

Stayed for 1 night. Great large room and very clean. Large clean bathroom as well, but the toilet was quite low to the ground - I'm only 1.72m, so average height (not sure if we were given a special room?). Bed was fine - soft mattress (I'm used to a firm mattress). Pillow was a bit lumpy, again not what I am used to. All in all I had a good night sleep though. Breakfast was not too bad - we arrived 30 mins prior to finishing so various things had run out. Breakfast area is not very big and not so well laid out, so kept bumping into people. Quiet surroundings despite next to a main road, our room looked out onto the courtyard garden which gave a sense of peacefulness. We happily would stay here again.
