I stayed last night, it's a great location, only 15 mins walk to town and the station. The room was very clean and well presented. It's a quiet area so you will not be disturbed. The service by the owner was excellent, cooked an amazing breakfast. Very good value for money, I will stay again should I be in Southampton on another occasion, highly recommended

Our experience was fantastic! It was a charming room with a private bathroom. We also paid for a wonderful traditional English Breakfast which was delicious. Our host was very accommodating and even carried our luggage up to our room for us. Highly recommended!

I spent 2 nights here because I visited a friend and she couldn't host me in her shared home. It was just what I needed: an immaculate room with all appliances in pristine condition, within 10 minutes walking distance from the railway station and my points of interest, situated in a quiet area, keeping a very aristocratic vibe. John and Bridget are doing an extraordinary job by maintaining this lovely mansion, I had a nice sleep and the morning coffee was perfect to start my days. I only regret I didn't have the chance to try the breakfast... maybe next time!
