We chose this hotel for the location near to the cruise port. We found on entering the reception that it was dark and all the wood panelling made it even more so. The receptionist was nice and welcoming. We went the sports bar and the staff there were very night, had a light snack. When the room was ready we were just unpacking when the housekeeping staff burst in to check the room. The bed and bedding were fine and very comfortable. The bathroom , however , needs some attention. Black mold in shower, and green lime scale round sink. Bedroom not fully hoovered! Decent evening meal and again nice staff. Had a drink in the bar. Had breakfast the next morning which was adequate. My overall opinion is it needs an urgent injection of TLC. New carpets, bathroom refurbs, brighten the whole place up. The bar was the most depressing of all.

Stayed here with my son as part of the peppa pig package, hotel is easy to get to off the motorway, upon arrival the staff were friendly and he even got a peppa pig pack which added to the experience for him. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Bedroom itself was really clean and lovely. The cons…the evening menu was basic and not much to choose from, the bathroom as other people have noted was very outdated and stains in the sink with loose tiles. The pool area and changing rooms were filthy, and definitely need more of a clean throughout the day, I came out feeling itchy, and when I went to use one of the lockers the door was in its last hinge and nearly fell on me…this was a shame as the reason I booked this hotel was for the pool use to keep my son occupied. All in all a great base for getting to and from the theme park, with fantastic staff and service, but can understand why people would be disappointed if they booked it solely for the spa.
