Because of some of the previous negative reviews, I thought long and hard before I booked us for a two night stay for our anniversary, but I needn’t have worried, as our stay was delightful. The location and the characterful nature of the building are stunning and everything inside seems to be very well maintained. Our room was a bit of a climb to get to, but it was a delightful, comfortable place to stay. The staff were all delightful and efficient and the breakfasts were really good. I am sure that we will be returning.

Excellent last minute booking. Had to stay over for medical reasons. From the moment I walked in the three ladies on duty were amazing, observant, attentive and accommodating. Even upgraded me to a room with a bath to be more comfortable Kim welcomed me quickly assessing what I needed and delivered with professional, efficient personal service. A real asset to the business. From the moment I walked in the door I couldn’t have received better service.

My daily routine includes morning coffee at The Beach House. Such beautiful surrounds, especially when sitting on the terrace in the sunshine. All the staff are really friendly and courteous and enjoy a little friendly banter with me. The building, whilst looking a little tired in places, is magnificent and the location cannot be faulted, something that will never change. Hopefully my routine will not change either. Have recommended the hotel to several friends who have stayed overnight and all have spoken very highly of the accommodation.
