DAYS INN BISHOPS STORTFORD M11

Had to stay a night as I was travelling to Stansted to catch a flight early in the morning. Met Jo the night receptionist who was really friendly and he helped me with my bags to my room as I have a bad back. He was really bubbly and made my day. Room was clean and in a good location

Booked an accessible room as I had just had knee surgery When booking I never mentioned what disability I had, to say this room was accessible is a bit of a stretch While it does offer space around the bed on one side the bathroom still has a standard door Strange thing about the disabled bathroom it has a bath, so would be interesting to see someone in a chair get in and out Also getting to the room has 2 heavy doors to pass Room shows a little wear and tear from what looks to be from a chair Nice touch it the ironing station

We had an overnight stay, travelling from Glasgow and needed somewhere to sleep ahead of an early flight, the gentleman behind reception on arrival was very polite and helpful and sorry we didn’t get his name to mention him. The hotel was clean, quiet enough, had a fan in the room and was close to service station amenities so no complaints at all.
