Minutes of Taxi from the Stansted Airport. In an "older brick house" and I love it! Receptionist was accommodating and calm even if under pressure - over-booking by an on-line company, printer malfunctioning and long line-up of customers. Clean and newer interior. Smells fresh air from my open window - could hear birds singing. Away from the highway so it was not noisy. Breakfast available in bags for $$. Recommend.

Having picked this hotel for cheapness after 4 months abroad, we were most pleasantly surprised.
Welcoming & hospitable staff on reception & in bar/restaurant.
Favourable size of room.
Spotlessly clean.
Efficicient central heating radiator in room.
This gave us quick warmth on a cold night.
Option of bright lights in room & bathroom if you so wished. (other hoteliers, who try to economize on electricity by providing dimly lit rooms please note!)
The bed was conformable.
There was very adequate shelving to place toileterie in the bathroom. (this essential is frequently denied to guests in so many establishments in all categories)
Good size tv with good picture.
Battery in remote control good.
Plug points including usb socket adequate.
Restaurant evening meal not 'Cordon Bleu' but certainly adequate, well served & above all very good value.
The downside was the question of how to alternate between shower & bath taps. (perhaps you should lean on your suppliers to indicate how to do this)
The only stressful part of the
whole experience was making the booking via smartpbone. This I found woefully unsatisfactory. Your company should address this as a matter of urgency & make sure the system is tried, tested & certified by people who are NOT computer geeks.
My message to the travelling public is: Put aside your snobbish prejudice against these budget hotels. If & when Covid 19 is defeated, patronise these places and above all don't fail to tell certain hoteliers that 'in your opinion, their price is far too high when compared to budget hotels.
Indeed I have paid over £100 for a room where there was literally not enough room to 'swing a cat' when near-by there was a budget hotel at £30 which was superior in room size, cleansiness & parking amenities.

Very enjoyable stay. Staff were very helpful. My husband has difficulty walking and was able to park the car close to the entrance of the hotel. The room and bathroom were very clean. We had a ground floor room with a lovely view. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location. One point I would make is a twin bed option would be helpful.
