The Airman Hotel

Our room was awful. The carpets were so dirty we did not want to take our shoes off. A black chewing gum stain was on one side of the carpet. There was only one towel for us, as a couple sharing a double room. There was no shower and the bath had a blew stain all around. The dressing table had peeling paint and the tv was a small portable tv. The room was extremely hot so we didnt sleep and couldnt wait to leave in the morning. You get what you pay for i guess as our room was only 65 pounds but we will not stay here sgain.

Run forest not only did my room come with extras and a fragrance you can't resist free snacks for later consumption as in a rotten cucumber 🥒 and dirty underwear stashed under the bed for later consumption we can only imagine what the cucumber was used for but ho hum free snacks can't Go wrong

My partner booked here for my birthday surprise as we were eating at restaurant, We arrived and walked up the wooden worn out stairs that moved when you stepped on them to be greeted with the reception which looked like a cab office and was unmanned we called the number on the sign and a woman answered and could t u sweat and what we were saying but she eventually appeared at the reception and handed us the key to our room. The whole place smelt like urine and musty so was not looking forward to seeing the room, we got to our room which was the 4 poster room and was more money yes it had a 4 poster bed in it but the the bathroom was dirty and the decor was awful and no bedside units just a tv unit as a tea and coffee station. The bed was very uncomfortable with only 1 pillow each to sleep on so we did not have a good night sleep very minimal on the tea coffee and milk portions so only had enough for 1 coffee each. The following morning went to have a shower and there was no hot water. I would not stay here again if we visit the restaurant again we will book into a hotel that is nearby.
