Best Western Homestead Court

We held my wife’s 70th birthday in the function room with about 70 guests and had a fantastic evening. Kaska the events organiser was superb helping us with details leading up to the party and making the event itself run smoothly.

We (2 burly males) were allocated a room each in the annex which were both superb. The breakfast was also excellent and the price was normal for the south east. We only found out when we were leaving that the hotel had a “contract with the government”, the subjects of which were kept apart from the normal guests. The car park was almost empty. I cannot fault our stay at all. However, I would have to say I would go back but the atmosphere would have a different tinge.

Stayed here while attending Iron Maiden’s Eddfest and had a fantastic experience. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, kindly allowing us to check in early at no extra charge, which really got our stay off to a great start. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Breakfast was cooked to order, and the scrambled eggs were some of the best I’ve had in a hotel. The hotel also has a fascinating history, having been associated with the 1966 World Cup and used as a base by various England football teams over the years, which was a nice bonus. Friendly service, comfortable accommodation, excellent breakfast, and a unique bit of sporting heritage. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it.
