We stayed here a few times recently and will continue to stay here. The staff are really amazing ! So friendly and helpful, just lovely and hardworking. The hotel is very clean, the food is lovely , the drinks are lovely too.

Stayed here for two nights for nephews wedding although the venue was great the room and breakfast left a lot to be desired considering paying 240 pounds for two night the bed was very low standard and I was more comfortable on the floor the mattress was so thin all you lay on was the springs. The window sill was full of water from condensation from window. I could hear the couple next door snoring all night. The breakfast despite being there first on morning two was warm and left a bad taste in mouth

Building is lovely but tired in some areas with carpets and walls in corridors needing some attention. Location is perfect, close to shops and transport links. Free parking on site and on surrounding roads. Reception staff friendly. Superior double room was nicely appointed. Faced out onto rear patio which despite the private events that evening wasnt too noisy. Shower was ok but mould around grouting / seals disappointing to see. Room was cold later in evening and heating didnt work. Provided with a few blankets after speaking to reception. Mattress rock solid making for a very sleep deprived, uncomfortable night. Asked for a room move in morning to be advised all rooms have the same mattresses which they had recently replaced. No mattress toppers available, offered an extra duvet to lie on which given room rates I didnt feel was an acceptable alternative. Decided to cancel additional night rather than have another bad night's sleep. Refund was actioned promptly and without question which was appreciated.
