Everything about the Glencoe House is exceptional. The Manor House, rooms, staff, grounds and location. The staff, especially James, made this a great experience. The rooms / suites are fabulous. Also, major hikes (like Three Sisters) are within an easy drive. If you are looking to stay in this area, this is the place to stay!

My wife and I have just finished staying in Suite 6 ( 80m2 ) at Glencoe House. Regrettably we only stayed two nights. The suite was a separate bedroom ( king size bed) with separate room with a make up desk and wardrobe, a corridor leading to a large sitting room with fireplace and extensive bar and dining table ( where dinner and breakfast is served) with stunning views uptown Pap (nipple) Glencoe, part of the mountain range, and off the living room a huge white marble bathroom.Glencoe House has a very interesting history. The staff are exceptional. Duty Managers Richard & Nicky, a conversation with kilted James is very enlightening, Chef Sebastian who on two occasions came to our suite to chat, and Desi and Ollie waiters who attended to every request mixed with great conversation and humour. Breakfast and dinner meals fantastic. The walks from the House, Lachlan Trail around The Glencoe lake, the Woodland trail through stunning forest and the mountain trail up to Pap Glencoe not to be missed as also a short walk down to Glencoe Village. The only regrets were we did not have enough time to stay, and without a car we could not explore this fascinating and historical part of the beautiful Scottish Highlands. We will be back!
