Antfield House

We stayed here for a long weekend with my family and grandchildren. When we opened the front door on arrival we new we would be staying in somewhere special. The house is beautiful and every need is catered for. The garden is huge and the grandchildren loved the freedom. Will certainly be back in the near future.

Primarily chose Antfield as it was very close to where I was going to be working, but I am very glad I did. Host helpfully sent directions to help find it as SatNavs can sometimes get confused with rural post codes, so made it straight to the front door with ease. Warmly welcomed on arrival and shown to my room which was spacious, well decorated and absolutely spotless. Was due to leave before their normal breakfast service times, but host offered to make breakfast early which I really appreciated - both in terms of the generosity of the offer, but also the quality of the breakfast! Is set in an idyllic rural location, but was only around ten minutes form Inverness and about 5 minutes from Loch Ness. Would heartily recommend and will definitely be back, whether for work or pleasure.

We stayed in many B&Bs during our recent 10 day stay in the UK, and most were very good. Antfield House B&B was the best of the best. We only stayed one night, but I wish it could have been more. Farmland surrounds the property. It is so quiet and peaceful. Dores Inn and Dores Beach on Loch Ness are just a 2 minute drive to the south. Angela greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room. The room was beautifully appointed. The bed was perfect - the mattress and linens were perfect. The breakfast was also the best of all we had during our trip. My full Scottish breakfast included scrambled eggs, mushrooms, bacon, sausages, baked beans and tomatoes. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Scotland.
