Beautiful hotel on the outside! but when you enter it is old and smelly!!! The food is decent. I will not return and I advise everyone against it!!

Great location, easy to get to so many places of interest. Beautiful valley. A comfortable old Victorian hotel with friendly and helpful staff. My double-bed room on the first floor was updated, very clean and nicely furnished. Bathroom was updated and clean. Bath/shower water pressure was strong and water hot, even at 8am with everyone else getting ready for the hearty breakfast buffet. I'd absolutely stay here again.

We had a superior garden view - room was lovely; new carpet, comfy beds and very nice bathroom with huge shower - for this 4/5 The staff were all excellent - very friendly and helpful. It was nice having tables on the lawn to enjoy the sunshine with a drink. Sadly the whole experience was let down by the food offering at dinner . The food came very very quickly. I would have rather waited an extra 10 minutes for something much better. The chips weren’t cooked properly for example. This place could be great with a refreshed food offering and tasty meals. Breakfast was very tasty though.
