We arrived after a long drive from Glasgow to be greeted with “fill these forms in, preorder your breakfast, kitchen closes at 9. There was no attempt at any conversation. The tone continued in the room with a list of ‘do not smoke or vape, do not wash any clothes etc. This could have been worded more politely. However, the room was large and spotless and well equipped. We appreciated the fridge and little treats of a chocolate and biscuit. The remote control didn’t work very well and although reported was not rectified Breakfast was ok but this morning, although there were only 4 of us eating the hash browns arrived ore than 5 minutes after the meals. Although the walk into town was less than a mile it is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems..

You can’t get much more picturesque than this amazing old home about 1 mile from Inverness CBD. The former Bishop’s house has been lovingly restored and oozes charm, and most of all it is welcoming and extremely comfortable The wonderful hosts are happy to help you with anything, provide assistance with directions, recommendations for restaurants and other attractions. The beautiful breakfast was possibly our favourite of our trip - you have a massive choice and everything is cooked for you a the time you have booked in to enjoy it in the amazing dining room. Our choice was smoked salmon and eggs every day and I added mushrooms, black pudding and haggis on different days!! The location is perfect. A lovely residential street, which is a flat 1 mile from the Grieg St footbridge that takes you over the River Ness to the CBD . I thoroughly enjoyed our few days there and if I ever go back to Inverness, I will definitely be booking at Trafford Bank.

Lovely home and rooms are quite spacious. The couple who own the house are very nice. Breakfast was provided. The shower is very, very small, so a larger person would have difficulty showering. The home is a good 20 minute walk from the town center, but Ubers are readily available. However, if you are looking for a B&B a tiny bit out of the way with peace and quiet this is the place.
