A wonderful castle with a lot of historical charm and very stylish furnishings. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Particularly noteworthy are the very good breakfast and the beautiful bar – here you really feel like you are in a historical castle.
Unfortunately, there are significant shortcomings regarding cleanliness. For example, we sat down at a table in the bar that was obviously not freshly cleaned – a quick wipe with a cloth would have been appropriate here. There were cobwebs on the window in the room. Surfaces and corners that are a bit harder to reach had also obviously not been cleaned for a long time. Even in the dining room, there were cobwebs in the corners by the windows.
For such a beautiful and upscale establishment, this is unfortunately unacceptable. Overall, a hotel with a lot of potential and a unique atmosphere, but where cleanliness should be urgently improved.
