We just had a fabulous great value 2 night stay. Such a quirky traditional old fashioned English seaside hotel, just what we wanted we loved it! Our room was spotless, and fully equipped with iron, hairdryer, lots of tea, coffee and biscuits, huge fluffy towels and comfy beds. The reception rooms downstairs were so interesting, and we had a lovely sunny drink out on the pretty patio. And all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks so much 😃 also recommend looking for the Zabre secret cafe, opposite and slightly down the road. A lovely friendly cafe hidden behind a clothes shop with a beautiful flower filled sunny courtyard garden... and wine!

The room I had was nice, whilst there I had a good stay, I would give that 5 stars, however after having paid upon arrival they also took the money out of my account after I had left. They acknowledged the mistake, they just never returned the money. They said they did, but ignored me when I asked for documentation. After 2 months with no luck. I contacted my bank and they helped getting it back. So naughty and such bad customer service. Shame on them.

Great location with old charm relaxation. We stayed bank holiday Monday after the scooter weekend. We arrived early but lovely, friendly, helpful staff let us leave our bags and bike gear so we could go for a walk around. We had room no.10 and it was huge, overlooking the front street. Nice and clean with a lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was next-door in the bar which was very tasty. Would definitely visit here again. Booked via walk in which was a little dearer than online but it was still good value.
