L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa

Fantastic hotel and overall very good experience. The positives... Stunning location, excellent service and customer care at all levels and in all parts of the building, lovely open air terrace, wonderful glass-fronted dining terrace, good menu choices with different options for dining, outstanding selection of breakfast choices, nice pool and spa with good treatment options, good parking. Convenient for airport and access to all other parts of the island. All in all a wonderful experience and will definately return. The (very) minor negatives... We had a room at the rear overlooking the car park (our fault as it was a last minute booking). The room was very well appointed and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Decor was a bit 'tired' for the room and also for some of the corridors in the hotel. The music on the terrace only happened a couple of times but is it really necessary to bring in loud music to 'entertain' people in such a stunning location in a place that oozes tranquility? It's not the kind of hotel/location where you need to pull in passing punters. It's a minor point but the sound of the ocean is far more pleasant than thumping music - and I love music of all sorts but it just felt wrong. Don't let these minor points put anyone off of going to this hotel. The overall experience was excellent and what shone above everything was the staff friendliness and customer service. I am already trying to get booked up here for 2027!

Is there a better place to spend your family holidays? Stayed here july 28th to Aug 4th 2026 with family (party of 7). Hotel is right on St Brelade’s Bay Beach and could not be better located. Staff really were so polite and accommodating from those on reception to the housekeeping staff. All were so friendly and would always stop, say hello and ask how you were enjoying your stay. Whether they are just friendly staff or trained impeccably, either way it makes a huge difference and makes you feel so welcome. Special shout out to Tony the concierge. A real character and friendly face to chat to. Full of information about the island and a really great bloke. Cheers Tone! Rooms were of a high quality and always attended to by housekeeping every day and night to turn down your bed. Loved the little “Jersey Cow” Chocs that were left also. Food in hotel was fantastic. From breakfast to evening meals. Can say it is some of the best food we have had on holiday. Location and staff really made this an unforgettable holiday for us. So to answer my original question, is there a better place to spend your family holidays? No, you will do very well to beat this place and location. We will definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay…friendly/efficient staff, clean rooms, amazing location overlooking the beach and the food at The Terrace restaurant was always good. Like so many hotels in Jersey, the infrastructure /rooms are a little ‘tired’ and could do with some modernisation and TLC. Overall a decent 4* hotel that exceeded our expectations.
