What a fantastic hotel. All in all a fabulous experience. Great food, wonderful happy staff who have obviously been very well trained. Eggs freshly cooked to order in front of you for breakfast, and rooms that are 2nd to none. even underfloor heating in my bathroom

I booked a room on the front of the hotel with a balcony - clearly visible in the pictures. I knew it was over the bar and could therefore be noisy with the doors open and it was. I didn't actually mind that as I have hearing loss so most of the noise without my hearing aids was just a background buzz!! I enjoyed watching St Helier go to sleep in the evening as the population went home and by midnight all is quiet. Not a typical holiday experience I know but it suited me.

Just wanted to share that Mathias on reception is always super helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you are looked after
