La Fregate Hotel

We spent a few days at the La Fregate Hotel on Guernsey. The hotel is situated slightly elevated, but the center is reachable on foot in a few minutes. The rooms are spacious and bright. The view over the harbor is indescribably beautiful. The restaurant offers food at the highest level. The service is absolutely professional and very friendly. No wishes remain unfulfilled and one feels like a special guest. Many thanks for the great time.

We really enjoyed our 7 nights at Le Frigate hotel, the rooms were large and well equipped with a lovely small balcony looking over across St Peter Port harbour to Herm. The room was kept extremely cleaned. We found the hotel to be in a great location although access to the hotel was via steps unless arriving by car or taxi. All the staff at the hotel were always helpful and very polite. The Breakfasts were very enjoyable, we had a meal one night at the hotel which was excellent and very good value. A very minor point is a small fridge in the room would be useful. We will certainly look at staying at Le Frigate when we next visit Guernsey. Thank you to everyone for a fabulous stay.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, so can’t comment on that. We had dinner there and it was fabulous. The lobster starter was very fresh and bright. Just right. My wife and I then shared the Chateaubriand, which was spectacular. Beautifully cooked and very substantial portions. The view from our table was also fantastic - a lovely view of the harbour vista. Too full for dessert! Couldn’t fault it.
