The Savoy Jersey

Just returned from a week in this Hotel, whilst it has the potential to be an excellent hotel, for us it fell far short of its 4 star rating, in a hotel of this standard you should not have to ask for towels after the room is serviced, this occurred on 4 days out of seven, in addition to whist the selection of food for a full English breakfast was of a good standard and plentiful, this was spoiled by lukewarm fried eggs on stone cold plates. Also there was only tinned peaches, pears and plain yogurt every morning. In our opinion the pool area should be a relaxing space, this was not so due the the incessant loud THUMP THUMP noise of background music, in fact one day it drowned out the noise of workmen who were operate ‘kango Hammer’ I will return to Jersey but not to this hotel,

I really enjoy staying at the Savoy. The rooms are comfortable. I always get a good nights sleep. Staff are so friendly. Breakfast is great quality for a buffet. I find it a relaxing peaceful place to stay and is my go-to when in Jersey. I also can highly recommend it for a funeral wake. The service, food and ambience was perfect for a small reception of 30 people. If you are thinking of having an event, choose the Savoy and ask for Michael.

One of the most welcoming and comfortable hotel stays I have ever experienced. Everything is thought of here and standards are high. A historic building with a contemporary feel close to central St Helier. Wonderful high quality buffet breakfasts were a highlight, also the great jazz band on Friday night's. Hope to return some day.
