Alkham Valley View

Shocking encounter with the owner of Alkham Valley View Holiday Apartments Janice, when making an initial enquiry to book accommodation. When I mentioned I had allergies, I was refused to view and book their holiday let, being told by Janice that 'she didn't want anyone who wasn't well' and that 'she couldn't be bothered with the hassle'. Absolutely disgraceful. Janice, you are clearly not aware that doing this as a service provider is illegal under the Disability Discriminations Act 2005 but I am sure Trading Standards and the Council who licences your holiday accommodation will be most interested to find out. Clearly not an isolated bad review looking at others here. Zero stars, alas you have to tick one star to leave a review.

This is just what a B&B should be, warm and welcoming with a nice sized room and great breakfast. Couldn’t fault the place, from it’s wonderful views to the lovely dog Rocco! Would happily stay again and recommend this wonderful Bed and breakfast to anyone looking for somewhere to stay with ease of access to Folkestone, Dover and the channel tunnel.

Only just got round to reviewing this b&b. I stayed in August.Lots of issues.Room reasonable so long as you like black!!Why would anyone choose to inflict their own odd choices in a room used by many?Breakfast with extreamly large dog present.Left on my own to wait for my taxi, owners or staff(not sure) went off to help at another b&b!!!so house empty except for me. On return NO ONE around anywhere, chucking it down, two cases,no one in, called landline, no answer, called mobile, no answer.Stood outside for 30mins. in pouring rain.Never a word of apologie from Janice.Too busy telling me how ill she was. I Have stayed in dozens of b&b,s on my way to a holiday. I have never had such a bad experience.
