We arrived late on the night of the 21st July ‘26 and the night reception staff Hannah and Ellie were extremely efficient, courteous and good-humoured. In the morning Mayur at reception was equally well prepared. A real pleasure to encounter such a good bunch. Top marks! NB

We booked a twin room for one night only as a stopover for a wedding we were attending the next day.We were greeted by a wonderful gentleman on reception who booked us in for dinner later that evening and also booked our breakfast slot.He also recommended a lovely mocktail which we enjoyed in the cocktail bar before dinner.The hotel doesn’t have AC but we had a portable fan already in our room on our arrival.Room was spotless and beds amazingly comfortable.We had the pleasure of having Oliver as our waiter for dinner and again for breakfast service the next morning.He was such a wonderful young man who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good hotel in Folkestone
