Holiday Inn Express Channel Tunnel

Stayed on our way to the tunnel. Staff friendly, room spotlessly clean as expected and beds made up as a family room which was nice and as we had booked. We got there at 8.45 after a long drive. The restaurant cafe was still open for another half an hour but the food looked very ordinary and expensive so I'm afraid we went to McDonalds down the road. The breakfast in the morning was really good, lots of choice with a big buffet and we had good night's sleep. It's very handy for the tunnel which is only a couple of miles away. Trouble is there are very few places immediately by the tunnel and it's £200 a night, but really it's very ordinary. You wouldn't want to stay more than a night even though there's nothing wrong with it.

This hotel is a 5 minute drive from Le Shuttle making it a great stopover the night before crossing. Very pet friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, we were so impressed by every one of them and the welcome they gave to us and all guests as they arrived.

An overnight stay before our holiday . The hotel is perfectly positioned for the tunnel. The bedroom was clean , comfortable and had air conditioning. Really friendly staff . A Good nights sleep was what we wanted and that’s just what we got !
