Wards Hotel

We arrived at what looked like an abandoned hotel, having paid a substantial amount for one night. There was rubbish outside the front door, beer cans and fag ends. Eventually someone answered the door and showed us to our room. It was awful, the blinds were broken, there was no TV or tea/coffee making facilities and there was a semi-assembled kitchen unit in one corner. The corridors were full of discarded furniture and there was no-one else around. It was like something out of a horror film. The bathroom was filthy - once we saw it we realised we couldn't possibly stay there. We contacted the owner and told him we were leaving and we left the keys. We asked for our money back but he just didn't reply. I wouldn't want anyone else to have the awful and expensive experience we had so I would advise anyone looking at this hotel - do not under any circumstances stay here.

The hotel cancelled me the day before my stay and 5 weeks later has still not refunded me.

Just bought through wards and they were amazing, would highly recommend. Romie was especially amazing but also Ollie, Charlie, Jack and Brooke were brilliant
