The Leather Bottle Ltd

Called here on Saturday afternoon for lunch, the food was freshly made, very tasty and good portion sizes. The Huntsman sharing platter for two could have fed a family of four ! Set in a lovely location, we strolled through the nearby apple orchard. Well worth a visit if you're ever in the area, and the bonus was that as ate lunch we were entertained by a Spitfire from nearby Biggin Hill airfield.

Stayed for the bank holiday weekend, Fri-Mon at the end of May, as partner on a long distance walk in the area. Had a fabulous weekend, amazing breakfast, very friendly crew, cold beer and sunshine; what more could you want in life?

Stayed for one night in room 2. Very pleasant staff and very accommodating with breakfast as we are vegan. I was expecting 'shabby chic' given the age of the building etc, but it was definitely on the shabby side! Unfortunately the mattress was very uncomfortable and as well as the decor being rather worn, the towels and bathmat were falling apart and had holes in places and were very thin.
