Holiday Inn Colchester

Rooms were spacious but there were no shelves or drawers. Staff were friendly but the food was dire and not served table by table. Breakfast was ok

There were 44 of us from Marlborough Gardening Association. We were made to feel very welcome. Everyone loved their rooms, the food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend.

Really impressed with staff, organisation, food quality and choice. Location is excellent. Came as part of a group and staff could not be better. My only complaint is size of beds for a couple. Seriously double beds! On the continent all beds are super king ie often 2 3 foot singles together giving you a good nights sleep and ability to stretch out after busy days. The bedrooms are big enough. Forget the decor update the beds!
