When we arrived at the hotel, we used the bell and was told someone would be there in 15minutes, we was let into the property to wait then outside of the property was full of little, box full of bottle and not been cleaned for some time. On entering there was a distinct smell unclean. Eventually someone arrived and we was given a key to the room, as we walked up the stairs (which looked like they hadnt seen a hoover for months) we got to the room, there was no electrics in the room due to a fault, we were given a 2nd room which was a twin instead of a double. As we settled into this room found curtains hanging without and sort of support, a wire was poking out the wall didnt know it was live. Then proceeded into the bathroom, the door didnt close without lifting it from the floor, the shower cubical was full of black mould. Was told there was tea & coffee in the room found one tea bag, no coffee and loads of milk & sugar. Bedside light was on a ledge away from the bed so if you used it you had to get out of the bed to switch off. This is the worst hotel I have stayed in and considering they display an AA 4stars, wouldnt give it 1 star
