Cliffs Hotel

Lovely 3 night stay at the Cliffs hotel. As a solo traveller it was cheaper to book directly with the hotel, I opted for a double room with a sea view, breakfast and dinner. The staff were welcoming, friendly, hard working and offered a great service. Shout out to Lloyd who offered food service with a smile, Jess equally the same on the bar and the bar manager (unsure of name) pulling it all together. Whilst perhaps a bit dated the room was great, clean and had everything I needed. The sea view was fantastic. The food quality given it was buffet style (other than the served main course) was of good quality. I wouldn’t go expecting a Michelle star meal but if you like traditional British home cooked food your needs will be met. I used the pool twice during my stay, given the outside temperature this was fantastic to cool down and whilst I didn’t use the gym myself I popped my head in it was air conditioned, modern and much larger than I was expecting. The sauna was good also. The only negative I can say with the pool is that the jacuzzi was out of action throughout my stay at the pool was closed one day between 1-4pm for maintenance. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the pool and jacuzzi so it was disappointed maintenance couldn’t be done of an evening or early morning prior to pool opening rather than at a peak time and that the jacuzzi was never available for me to use. Whilst the guests at the hotel were mainly of pension age or families I’d suggest this hotel offers something for everyone whether you fall into either of these buckets or are a couple, solo traveller or going on holiday with a group of friends. The location of the hotel was perfect for me; it is located in a quiet part of Blackpool up the north side. I slept well as little to no noise of an evening. There is also a tram stop right outside the hotel which given I travelled to Blackpool via train was perfect for me although the car park looked like there was ample space also should you be planning to drive. I’d usually stay in a B&B when going to Blackpool but I’d certainly consider using the Cliffs again for a few days, week or two holiday. Thanks for a great stay.

This hotel was over priced there is a young blond headed boy he was so un helpful and used his position to make our time and stay terrible . No one man should be able to operate in such an establishment un challenged at the age of 20 disgusting food is disgusting we were supposed to stay 2 days we stayed one out of the two my kids had a terrible holiday .some staff were nice but the reception were shocking.it’s dated old and shabby.

We stayed at The Cliffs Hotel Blackpool once again and we were not disappointed. What wonderful staff , including, Chloe in the restaurant, Joanne in the bar and not to forget Nevilina from the restaurant who has been there years as well as the manager. It's like going home. The food is out of this world ( never had a bad meal yet). All the staff as well as those mentioned are so friendly and polite. The only problem l had this time was, the bathroom was meant for tall people, my husband had to put the towels up for me 🤣😂. Well done all of you, keep it up ❤️
