I attended a wedding reception here at the weekend and stayed over. I was very happy with the service at the hotel. The meal at the reception was delicious and the staff very attentive and helpful. Everything went like clockwork and we had a lovely time. The hotel is well maintained and very comfortable. The only issue I had was that my bedroom was unbearably hot. I woke several times in the night because of it, even though the window was open and a fan on. Can’t imagine why this was but several other people mentioned it too. Breakfast was well cooked and well served with plenty of choice, Elisa, my waitress was very pleasant and helpful, and brought my breakfast to me to save me going to the buffet…I have a mobility issue. The staff, in general were lovely. I was surprised there was no bar food or room service option on the weekend evening. I asked at the bar if I could get a sandwich about 7 pm and was told the chefs had left and it wasn’t possible. I had eaten in the afternoon at the reception but couldn’t get anything else until breakfast the next day as I had only booked bed and breakfast. That apart it was a lovely stay and I’d be very happy to stay again.

We all had a fantastic stay, the staff were brilliant especially the team on when we arrived, my Dad had a fall bringing in his case, spoke to the reception ladies and the first aider came and dressed his cuts checked him over. The weekend then started wonderful food, fantastic entertainment. Rooms lovely. Thanks to you all. We will be back. Fantastic hotel from reception, back of house staff and waitress and waiters nothing was to much trouble, all greeted you with a smile.
