The Alondra Hotel

Extremely disappointing experience I booked this accommodation through Airbnb and shortly afterwards received a link asking me to complete an online check-in. I was then presented with a choice of a £100 refundable deposit or a £30 non-refundable waiver. I was aware there could be a deposit, but I was extremely unhappy about the additional £30 non-refundable option and how this was presented after I had already booked. Host refused to cancel or refund me I felt trapped between accepting conditions I wasn’t comfortable with or potentially losing the money I had already paid. Thankfully, after several stressful hours, Airbnb stepped in and resolved the situation. A very frustrating and stressful experience. Based on what happened to me, I would not recommend this host

Very Clean place with a friendly and helpful owner. I would stay here again, price was great, location is 2 mins walk from tower and winter gardens and all blackpool has to offer. Basic facilities, but felt safe as a single woman with the door security access

As ever, the trip to Alondra was lovely. Sarah stopping by for a chat, letting us know where everything was, and letting us having some doggy therapy with Beau after breakfast. D is already counting the days to our next visit in July as he loves that dog so much!
