The Alpine Hotel

Myself and my husband have just returned from a 3 night break here and will certainly be returning. Free parking is available at the hotel. We had a double room which had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. This hotel has an adjoining bar with large tv screens and loads of seating. We stayed on a bed and breakfast break and the lovely owner Dilip cooked a perfect full english every morning we were there with unlimited cereals, tea, coffee and orange juice. The owner is an ex gurkha and there is quite a few cabinets with interesting nepali/gurkha things to look at too. The hotel also has a resturant which is open to the public from 5pm for all you can eat buffet which is an amazing selection of nepalese, indian, chinese, thai etc. There is so much choice and all delicious. All in all we had a great 3 days and will be recommending to all our friends

Excellent hotel lovely and clean with super friendly staff, Great selection of Indian, Chinese and Nepalese food, Will definitely be using again

Lovely clean hotel, with lovely welcoming people. Stayed here 2 nights for the fireworks and wasn't disappointed. Even managed to bag a free parking space and we didn't get there till 7pm. There's a lot going on under one roof as they also have an asian buffet style restaurant ( that smelt absolutely delicious ) and a friendly bar/pub area, but can honestly say didn't hear any noise in our room from either what's so ever. Our Room was clean and very spacious with a nice range of biscuits to accompany the tea and coffee they supplied. There was also a fridge stocked up with bottled water, which I thought was a really nice touch. We would 100% return to this lovely hotel, It was a privilege to stay in the company of people that have done so much for this country.
