The May-Dene Hotel

We booked over the phone and were given detailed instructions of what to do when we arrived. On arrival we where shown to our room which was bigger than expected and spotlessly clean. Parking at the back was a real bonus. We visited Blackpool for the pleasure beach and the hotel was a short walk away. We had a good weekend and will certainly be coming back.

Firstly I want to say that Maydene was clean . Although one of the rooms smelt of mould. The location was good . But We were very disappointed in not having the choice of a cooked breakfast . We also felt that the owner was abrupt and had an attitude. Also after telling the owner before making our booking that I had sleepapnea . Our room was on the top floor of the b&b and I struggled wirh my breathing to get to it . Would we recommend this hotel ? NO sorry.

I recently stayed at this B&B in Blackpool for 7 nights and was very pleased with my experience. For the price I paid, it offered excellent value for money. The location was fantastic with easy access to the promenade, attractions, shops and restaurants. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help which made my stay even more enjoyable. It was also great to have breakfast included each morning, providing a convenient and satisfying start to the day. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this B&B to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in a great location at a reasonable price.
