The Princess

Stayed here for one weekend room was small and basic bed was pushed up to the wall on one side sheets were clean as was the room shower had mold in it and bathroom small no English breakfast on the Saturday just Sunday but was excellent Lovely people have to pay for car parking

Looking for a hotel I came across The Ashley Victoria which is owned by the same owners rooms looked great so I booked they put me in their hotel opposite....as it was late and everywhere booked I stayed, a hostel would have been better, and they had the fall to charge me £50 a nite...left after first nite even tho I paid for x4 that's how bad it was

We stayed one night glad it wasnt longer, no sign outside so we were struggling to find which hotel it was as we arrived late due to bad traffic it was around 7pm we just wanted to drop out bags off and go straight out.parking was bad carpark full we managed to park against the wall in the end but had to position the car right. There was alot of junk dumped in carpark. We picked this hotel as it said four star and had a bar when we got inside the bar was shut and when we asked the owner said it was shut. We got to our room which was clean but on entering the bathroom found i couldnt get out as the carpet wasnt pinned down properly and jammed with the door. The shower head had a hole around it on wall. Breakfast was on a wobbly table and full breakfast consisted of 1 bacon 1 very cheap looking sausage,1 hash brown,1 fried egg and some beans,no tomatoes or mushrooms, it seemed small to what were used to there was toast, jams and a choice of 2 cereals and weetabix. Wasnt impressed with this hotel its definitely not a 4 star,id say 2. When we asked if we could leave the car in their carpark on day of departure we were told we couldnt when i didnt think that was fair as we hadnt used the carpark atall until 7pm the day before
