Warm and professional welcome on check-in. Refurbished hotel in many ways provides a quality environment for dining. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Our room was above the Spa so was a little warm but a fan was in the room. Breakfast was the highlight and the gardens a pleasant place to enjoy morning coffee. There is a quite panelled room for relaxing. Recommended.

Had the most beautiful wedding weekend here with my family and friends. The rooms were gorgeous - we had the premium interconnecting rooms the night before to get ready in which were air conned and very spacious, and the bridal suite was beautiful. There was a milk fridge and ice dispenser in the corridor which was handy as the rooms didn't have fridges. The food was incredible - breakfast good quality and the wedding food just divine. Breakfast did get busy though but the staff were good at keeping up with the rush. One coffee machine was out of order so ques were big, but this can't be helped. The service was amazing by all staff. Chloe the wedding coordinator was more than accommodating during the planning stages and extremely friendly. On the day, savick managed everything to a T - what a very friendly and professional man, he was a pleasure to be around. All the staff were so happy, kind and generous. The venue itself is beautiful and kept to a high standard. The grounds are equally beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, and we truly had an amazing experience getting married at this hotel, I would 100% recommend.

A nice hotel but a few niggles. Nice grounds, nice restaurant easy parking. I am over 80 and the minus points will only affect the older clients, but they may be a majority! I had a manor suite, recently refurbished. Great ambiance but could not really use the bathroom!. No grab handles on the ceramic bath. No mat to go in the bath. Nice walk in shower, but again no grab handles and ceramic rather then walk with floor grip tiles. Had to put a wet towel on the ceramic floor to make it non slip and useable Only other matter synthetic pillows no choise of natural fibres. Bar needs to have dedicated staff from say 3pm.If there was a solution to my comments then it should have been stated on booking or at reception. If you can sort these points you have five stars!
