THE CEDARS HOTEL AND RESTAURANT

What can I say we had a booking only found out was closed by looking at website no phone call or email Saying closed we would have driven 2 hours just to drive back !! Lucky I looked at website abs said was shut no communication from thwm so again please note didnt stop

I had booked an event and an overnight stay to celebrate a family birthday. The weekend before, I got a call and an email to say both were cancelled as the hotel was closing. To add insult to injury I received an email asking for a review of the overnight stay! Honest review: Don’t bother, the owners don’t care about their bookings, they must have known when I made my bookings that they were going to close and didn't care that they were cancelling a significant family event less than a week before.

I didn't get to stay at the hotel because 2 hours before midnight of day I was meant to stay, I received an email telling me my booking was cancelled and that the hotel was closing for a YEAR. No explanation as to why such late notice, they must have known in advance. Phoned on the day, no explanation. DO NOT BOTH, who runs a hotel and treats potential customers like this. Go anywhere else. If this place opens in a year, I will be amazed. Shocking!
