Plus Points: 1. Carpark cheap £3 per day and secure 2. Staff Did their best with a hotel that needs shutting down and renovating 3. Hair dryer 4. Towels changed daily Negative Points 1. Carpets worn and ready for skip 2. Furniture stained, worn 3. Bed small but sheets were ok 4. Room boiling hot 5. Location, at the front, you have to walk through teenagers playing loud music and groups of adults drinking, smoking and shouting, not a nice area (don’t pay extra for a view as this will be what you see and hear). 6. Bathroom, dirty and old, shower curtain even mouldy at the bottom Place needs shutting down and a complete refurb! Those that write great Reviews are either workers, family of owners or are staying in refurbed rooms?? First time not staying at the Wetherspoons up the road - big mistake

Rooms very dated worn carpets and deco stained lamp shades. We had to be asked to move rooms to be able to stay an extra night.

Excellent location with the train station nearby and the shopping centre a few minutes walk. The room was standard and definitely requires modernising. However, it was quiet and relatively clean. The staff were fantastic - polite and friendly. The food was great in the hotel restaurant and I ordered breakfast to my room. The breakfast was standard and the orange juice was actually orange squash. I enjoyed my two night stay, a good location and friendly staff.
