Best Western Admiral Rodney

Very central in Horncastle. Large car park. The hotel bar and restaurant is reasonably comfortable but in need of updating. The seating, a mixture of accent chairs sofas, are worn and stained. A lot of the tables hadn't been cleared away and cleaned. However the staff are very friendly and personable. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom a little small and we could hear the people above quite loudly. The dinner menu is pretty limited and very little vegetarian choice. Usual pub grub. ( We ate out in the town the second night.). Only one cask ale on at any one time but reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. All in all, the hotel is adequate for a couple of nights but I wouldn't fancy an extended stay.

We stayed at Admiral Rodney Hotel for 2 nights, our stay was lovely from arrival to leaving. The staff was so friendly especially Emily, Shannon & Aysha. We did notice in places the hotel needs some TLC, however we did eat in the restaurant and had a lovely meal. The breakfast was really nice as well. Our visit was for a few days away and to visit a few antique shops, some of these were a bit disappointing, but we would recommend The Big Chair Company with some outstanding items also a lovely coffee shop inside.

lovely clean room and facilitys,breakfast and an evening meal also very good,and cannot even fault the staff, very polite and helpful, even in the heatwave we had!
