Pleasant helpful receptionist, professional and welcoming. Really comfy bed, clean good quality bed linen. I stayed in an accessible room on the ground floor close to reception - ideal for me. The hotel staff were very helpful when I rang them because their lift is out of action due to renovations. I panicked, but didn't need to as they had space for me on the ground floor. Breakfast was very good - excellent fried eggs and very tasty, good quality bacon. I guess that this is a very busy hotel - a bit of extra attention to around the taps and edge around the bottom of the toilet pedestal, when time permits, would make the bathroom gleam and get rid of the gunk. Disabled guests should be aware that there are no handles or frame around this toilet. There is a grab handle in the shower over the bath, be aware the bath sides are a bit high. Bathroom fine for me but best to ask depending on individual needs. I got a good rate off the hotel's site for my one night stay. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back.
