Penny Farthing Inn

Seven of us met here for lunch before staying at a barn AirBnB nearby. We arrived from different parts of the country and some got caught up in traffic and were half an hour late. The staff were really friendly and we chatted to the locals at the bar while waiting for the rest of our group. The food was excellent and I especially liked the half a rack of ribs with chicken wings. We intend to book the barn again and will definitely meet at the Penny Farthing Inn again.

Went here for a drink in the evening, asked if we could bring our dog in, of course came the reply, we were given seats and our order was taken, the bar man came back with the drinks and water and a treat for our dog!! Sadly we had already eaten but the food looked delicious and we will be back!!

Good food, Shame the service doesn’t match. Had to ask to order our food after being sat at our table for half an hour with no one coming to see us. Probably wouldn’t rush back. The only reason for 4 stars is the good food, service needs some attention.
