About time write review having been here many many times over the years. Hotel is excellent, staff really good and more than happy to assist in anyway....Gavin, Phyliss and especially the ever patient Victoria. Surroundings, location and facilities are very good- would struggle to improve it !! As we check out in July we book up for following year (family nearby). So we have stayed in hotel (suite and rooms) and hotel lodges and whoever running other lodges (?) Two moans....first and main one- why when in non hotel lodges have they started charging for Spa and also restricted times- not good with family. And more so if staying in hotel as not "weekend only golfers" varied menu perhaps? Oh....blinkin prices shot up for next year.....just got prices ! Ouch

2 night stay in the hottest time of the year (July) and they have the radiators on. Seriously? Most of the rooms don't have air con and are unbearably hot. Bathrooms are woefully outdated. The new rooms have air con but its absolutely useless. Spa is ok but is need of renovation as the floor is pretty grim, loads of tiles missing outside. Also children swimming lessons from 5 - 7pm when people want to relax. Thats not cool. Food was ok but cocktail prices are extremely expensive for packet mix.

Booked a pedicure which was good value for money, but upon arriving the treatment was rushed, with not was said on the prospectus, hard skin removal was poor, and there was hardly a relaxing massage!! Very disappointing
