Great B&B near Kentish Town. The recent renovations have given the Victorian building a lovely, fresh and clean feel. The room was basic but the bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 31 and the only complaint is that the bathroom was tiny, it was difficult to get in the shower due to the space between the shower and sink and my Husband struggled with the head height when using the loo!! The hospitality was great, there was a complimentary breakfast in the morning and the 24/7 self-serve coffee station and free water bottles. It’s clean, updated, comfortable, and has rare free parking for London. Perfect base for a gig at the Forum!

We stayed at Charlie’s Hotel for a concert at the Emirates Stadium and, after reading some of the previous reviews, were a little worried. However, we had a really positive experience. The hotel is budget-friendly and in a great location for the stadium. The staff were very friendly and happily stored our bags both before check-in and after check-out, which was a huge help. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, with fresh paint, new flooring and new beds. While the rooms are small and basic, and there are no tea or coffee-making facilities, everything was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a great night’s sleep. For what we needed – somewhere affordable, clean and comfortable to sleep – it was perfect. If you’re looking for luxury, this probably isn’t the place for you, but as a budget base in London, we were very happy with our stay.
