Four Seasons Canary Wharf

Although this is a lovely hotel, they unfortunately have thieves working fot their housekeeping team. I mistakenly left an expensive item in the room, I know exactly where I left it, I called the hotel as soon as I got home to let them know I had left the item and would come back to get it. I was informed housekeeping had already cleaned my room and not reported finding anything, the lady in the desk then called housekeeping and security and informed me that no item had been found. So they had stolen it, as I know exactly where in the room it was. So I wouldn't bother staying again as it ended up costing a fortune with my personal property being taken.

Worst experience of my life. The AC in the room wasn't working during a heatwave and the hotel wasn't able to help us until the next day. Additionally, the front desk are always at capacity, if you ask for botteld water expect not to receive any until the next day (it was an insane heatwave AND we didn't have AC in our room, we still had to wait for an hour to receive any water whatsoever). Order food and you will receive the wrong order. When I checked out, I needed the receipt to be edited and the front desk had told me not to worry they would email me the correct copy. I told them i needed it and to please make sure they send it, this this day i am emailing reservations asking for my receipt as they still haven't sent it!!!! do not trust this hotel and do not stay here. Go book anywhere else in canary wharf and save yourself the time and hassle.

Terrible! During a heatwave we stayed at hotel Riverside. Specially booked because of the pool so our children could cool off during the city trip. Unfortunately. The pool was off limits to children! Only for two hours in the early morning were children allowed in one (!) lane of the pool. The swimming pool does not belong to the hotel at all but is part of a sports club. Our last night was traumatizing when the fire alarm kept going off up to 6 times and we had to evacuate from our room several times. This lasted from 1am to 3am. Because there was a problem with the lock of our room door, we had to wait outside until 4 am. That faulty door was a known problem during all three nights of our stay, but was not resolved. During check-out we were promised a refund of the last -watched- night. Now, a good week later, still haven't received anything. The hotel does not respond to our questions. My youngest child still has nightmares from the fire alarm. There is also a deposit on our credit card that has still not been refunded.
