The Georgian Hotel

We were very pleased with this hotel for our single night stay in a double room.Very attractive decoration modern but with a classic style.Our room was a good size with ensuite all clean and well presented with a traditional fire grate. Continental breakfast was included and had a good range to choose from.Staff were very polite and helpful,friendly reception staff only too happy to help and advise . Definitely a little gem in the centre of London perfect for a theatre break or shopping spree.

I stayed as part of a group of 4 males for the cup final weekend. We read all the reviews before booking but we just wanted a cheap bed for the night so took the punt. The hotel is very basic and in need of some TLC, but it was very cheap, good location and ok if you just want a bed to crash in with friends. The area of the hotel is nice and from the outside the hotel looks quite grand. The interior lobby area is dated but tidy, on arrival we were called down to the lower floor to a small office. The guy who checked us in was friendly and helpful. We originally booked a 4 bed room but on arrival, the guy who checked us in asked if we wanted a bigger 6 person room for a small upgrade fee. We decided to go ahead as the room was en-suite. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom located over the hall rather than an en-suite. The room we had was very basic but comfortable enough. Bedding etc were all clean and room was tidy. The bathroom was basic, grubby and in need of some updating but it was functional. It was enough for what we needed. I would not personally take my family to stay at this hotel, but on the other hand if I was visiting London again with friends then I'd be willing to use this hotel again as a place to crash. It's certainly not great but you get what you pay for in Central London. This hotel is cheap and serves a purpose.

If you just want somewhere to sleep then you can maybe put up with this place ! We had asked for early check in and on arrival told no ! Rooom very basic, no toilet rolls, aweful beds and the bathroom, well, let's say I did not even shower ! Great location, shabby which is such a shame in lovely georgian area in W1. You have been warned. Hostel would suit this place better not a hotel !
